Steven Meisel is a american fashion photographer. Born and active in New York. Meisel's reputation for diversity has brought him prestigious advertising assignments, from Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, and Versace. His collaboration with Madonna on her controversial book Sex (1992)designed by Fabien Baron is perhaps his best-known work. He is now considered one of the most successful fashion photographers in the industry, shooting regularly for both US and Italian Vogue
