Valistika Studio

       Guadalupe Cos-Gayon Alía and Miguel Abio Ruiz make up the creative couple. They both were formed in Design and Illustration at the Real Casa de la Moneda in Madrid and Later Guadalupe in Advertising Graphics at the Nº 10 Art School in Madrid.  

        They have worked together as the creative direction & design team since 2006. They work on a range of projects including art direction, design, illustration and custom typography for arts & culture, fashion and advertising clients.

      “The thing that makes us most proud is to able in the creative process of all our projects, to express ourselves, our feelings and the keep in constant search of our own style”.

        The medias they  like most are always handmade, drawing, collage, painting... and then work on a digital bases (if necessary). “We believe the work that way is more human and more personal”.

        Together we are working on the “Valístika Studio project”, where we want to share our ideas with the design world.

200/70 for Yahoo Purplescape

Last February i got an invitation to join Yahoo's new initiative.Yahoo! PurpleScape is an exciting collaborative art project designed to recognize and promote innovative young talents as well as popular and established artists in the local and international scene. Illustrations are required to use the color purple and execute our own interpretation of the purple world,a place with no rules, no gravity, no money, no worries, no authority.

Yahoo Purplescape launch will be this coming June or July on selected countries in Asia.

Crafty and superb  hand made fonts by HMF made from anything. HMF( HandMadeFont) is a design company based in Estonia that specialize in developing unique, untraditional fonts. It was founded in 2008 by Vladimir Loginov and Maksim Loginov.

Velckro

Chris Piascik

Chris Piascik is one of amazing illustrator i met. I first saw him at Doodlersanonymous where i first started to be a big fan. He is a graphic designer/artist residing in Cambridge, MA. He is part-owner and designer of Print Brigade, a small clothing company. He is also a designer at Alphabet Arm and just finished two years of being an adjunct professor at the Hartford Art School at the University of Hartford. And by the way he just won the 2nd Battle in Recklesserica.
